This weekend

We had a productive, but relaxing weekend at home with the boys. As much as I miss MN, it was nice to be home and not have any where to go.

If you are a Facebook junky, you know that we tried to do some potty training this weekend. Despite it being unsuccessful, the boys did look cute in their Diego underwear. They were hard to photograph together. They don't stop moving too much these days.

Saturday night we took the boys to the drive-in.

July 4th weekend

We spent the 4th in Grand Rapids, MN this year. Eli, Jim, and Michelle joined us for the first few days. We boated (thanks Jim and Michelle), beached, and played outside. Apparently, we had so much fun we forgot to take a lot of pictures.

Family pictures are hard to take these days. On Monday, Gary and Ann took us out on the pontoon for the day.

Another attempt of a family photo. Brandon and Jess Jahn had some friends over on Saturday. The boys played some frisbee with the dogs while Moose and I caught up with some friends.

Kansas City, MO

This past weekend we traveled to Kansas City, Missouri for Wiese and Amy's wedding. On Saturday we took Jack and Will to the Wonderscope Children's Museum in Shawnee, KS. They turned an old school into a museum using the different rooms for exhibits. The boys loved it. I wish they had something like it in Muscatine. It was hands on and independent for the boys.

Will requested pizza after the museum so we found a Pizza Hut. They think they are big boys and can sip from a straw. Only minimal water damage was done. Bryan and Amy Wiese. The ceremony and reception were at the Berg Event Space in Kansas City, MO. It was a great night of friends, drinks, and dancing. We are looking forward to Bryan and Amy moving back to Chicago.

Between the rain

On Sunday we went to a park to play before going for pizza and ice cream. Jack concentrating on his climbing skills. Will was being brave as Moose guided him over the monkey bars.

Tonight we played in the sprinkler until the thunder clouds rolled in and the sirens went off.

Brad and Pesey's Wedding

Congratulations to Brad and Pesey! They were married yesterday in their backyard here in Muscatine. This picture was taken at the rehearsal dinner.
