October pictures

Jack and Will looked too cute to pass up a picture before daycare this week. They discovered the book corner one evening. They sat their for awhile checking out the selection.
Will is on the move! He crawled into the kitchen corner by himself. Hopefully this is not a window into his future:)
The weekend after the pumpkin patches, we carved the pumpkins (way too early-they were moldy last night). The boys sat for a quick with their first pumpkins.
They are just too cute in the bathtub. Now they are flipping over on their bellies and swimming.
Moose took this close-up of Jack with Will in the background.
Jack rolled into Will's lap holding the latest toy, the remote from the portable DVD player.

Pumpkin Patches

Moose was fortunate to get the afternoon off today. We took the Will and Jack to two pumpkin patches. It was unseasonably warm today, low 80s. The first pumpkin patch we went to was in Buffalo, IA. Buffalo is located on HWY 22 along the Mississippi River east of Muscatine about 20 miles. The boys like to be carried on Moose's shoulders. They grab hold of his hair and enjoy the view.
Inspecting the gourds and mini pumpkins.
We opted to pick our pumpkins from the ones that were displayed around the farm instead of taking the hayride out to the actual pumpkin patch. We'll save that for next year.
The second pumpkin patch we went to was also on HWY 22. It was at Camp Abe Lincoln. The camp is a YMCA camp. I was not the best pumpkin patch but we did get some cute pictures while we were there.William

Playful pics

Jack says, "What's up?" Will further confirms that he is part canine.
Moose and I were discussing what to get the boys for Christmas and talked about how they will enjoy the wrapping paper and boxes. Well, as it turns out, we were right:) The boys like to sit in the box, bang on the box, and get pulled around in the box. Cute baby Jack.
Jack took the dish towel from the refrigerator door while he was scooting in the walker. Will got hold of it and they were playing "tug of war" for a little bit.

Muscatine Homecoming 2008

The boys and I walked in the Homecoming Parade on October 2 with the Madison School group. Madison's mascot is the mustang. The boys' onesies say "little Mustangs." This is a post-parade picture of Will and Jack. They each had a visor to wear but Will chewed his and disassembled the cord. They enjoyed the parade itself but were a little antsy before the parade started.

Fall

On Tuesday, Moose was able to leave work early. He took the boys outside to watch some middle school football that was going on behind our house.
The boys enjoyed the view from the grass.
